One word to describe yesterday.

EPIC.

It was hot. It was stressful. It was chaotic. but it was EPIC.

(yes, epic is one of my new favourite words :P)

9th of April. My very last sports day. And the very first that had it's entire photo coverage co-

ordinated by students. I was afraid that we will mess up. I was scared that I wouldn't be able to do as well as previous years in producing magazine-worthy shots. I feared the potential accidents that seem to plauge the photographers that go on assignment. and most of all, I doubted myself.

but in the end;

PHOTOGRAPHY SECTION 2009. YOU GUYS MADE IT NOT ONLY ALL RIGHT, BUT YOU MADE IT AWESOME.

Thank you for standing by me when I was panicking my head off in the morning.

Thank you for enduring my badly-planned lessons in an attempt to prep you guys for sports day.

And thank you, for making me proud.

You guys were awesome. You not only handled the event cooly and calmly, you followed protocol, you delt with the little hiccups that came in waves during that day without breaking a sweat, and with all your running around just to get that onse shot, you guys were the best atheletes there of them all.

Laura Khoo- Thank you for your awesome memory card opening skills. If it wern't for you, we would have two DSLRs down for the count. (and thanks for the sweets :P)

Darrelle: Thank you for managing the snipers and my mass hysteria. Thank you for taking over one sports day lesson. And thank you, for being an Epic RUNNER :D

Kelly: Thank you for taking over the sports day lesson with Darrelle. Thank you for being there when I needed yu. and thank you for being the brillient starter that led our club to VICTORY IN THE CCA RACE!

The sec1/sec2 juniors: THANK YOU for being the awesome that you all are!

The Seniors:

Nadiyah: Thank you for being so cool and calm, even when I was tearing my hair out because of rubbish. Thank you for tolerating my nonsense. Thank you for handling the videography team. And Thank you for caring so much about me :) ( WE MUST HAVE ANOTHER DAY OF NOTHING AGAIN)

Shun Jing: Thank you for being the sensible person that helped me with handling all the little problems on sports day. Thank you for all the running around in the sweltering hot sun in your jacket, just to take photos. Thank you for worrying about my foot and offering to be my walking stick! (REALLY, MY FOOT IS A LOT BETTER NOW)

Nicole Yap: Thank you for handling all the juniors and for your encouragement!

Claudia: thank you for training the runners and leading them to victory, even if the school didn't acknowledge it. I will make sure the school does, even if it means beating up certain people. >D

The non-photog people:

Lesley: Thanks for all the fun after sports day and coming along with us. And for cheering your head off for infocomm with me :D (CONGRATS ON GETTING YOUR GREEN-TIP!)

Kristen: Thank you for all the water! I would've dehydrated without it!

Right. Now down to the actual day.

This is my sister. She is a huge supporter of green team. Hence the green teeth. GRIN AND BEAR IT, KIM. GREEN TEAM ALL THE WAY! :D
