I will not say 'YOUTH' even though it's youth day. Its a very Gai-Sensei like thing to do, and I dont really need any more encouragement in that I resemble him. Okay? HAH I KNOW YOU ALL WERE THINKING OF IT.
Anyway. The reason why I am deleriously happy today is one of several things:
First off, my mom brought me and me second sister off to see the new Nat Geo Wildlife photography exhibition. It was inspiring. They had put on display some of Nat Geo's best wildlife photos from the 1920's, and had framed them up nicely with the names and descriptions of the photos underneath. I saw some new and intresting perspectives of the world around us, and am tempted to run away from all this studying to try them out. Alas, if I am to get anywhere in life, I still need my O levels. Watch me world. I am going to work my way up to that level of awesomeness with my photography someday too. And I will show the world my take on life.
Secondly, I managed to finish the horrible full emath papers that have been demanded of us over the weekend. My brain hurts and fingers are sore but they are FINISHED. I will celebrate what I can. ;)
Thirdly, I think my 2nd attempt at the blackbelt grading went quite well. I didnt sprain anything this time, and besides a rather sore crotch, am fully unscathed. My sparring was good, and I did my pattern okay. Blackbelt coming maybe?
I am trying to ignore the urge to mope about my fail chinese oral. Its probably a fail, yes, and I may fail my chinese O levels for now, but there is always the end of the year. I refuse to give in to moping. I will mope only when I deem fit.
Because the world is far too intresting right now to let it all slip away.
