Simply Quackers

Because ducks are awesome.

Today was the photography field trip to the botanics.And... it was an interesting experiance.

Ehh.....Hm. Yeah.

It rained, and rained, and rained. Even though it had been thundering with boiling black broths of stormclouds since the morning, whoever up there who controls the weather only decided to unleash the floodgates at around 12. Lasting all the way to about 6 in the evening.

Even though we got rained out and were stuck at the visitor center for quite a while, I am pleased to say that I have hardy juniors, hardy, humerous juniors, who simply take everything in their stride and take photos, no matter what the weather. Photography juniors, I am proud of you!

They simply strode out through the rain (when it got light enough for the cameras to not short out) and had fun. The light was super diffused, the place was wet and soggy, but you all simply laughed at it all and just appriciated the fact that we were out of school. Your laughter was so loud that I could hear it across symphony lake. Seriously.

We laughed, we shot, and we ate. I could not ask for more, and I throughly enjoyed myself, even if it was not in a laugh-madly-and-crazily sort of way. It was a nice change of pace, to be peaceful and slow-going. I got to know all of the photography members better, took some nice shots, and ate some of Darrelle's awesome cookies. I am completely at peace with myself now (:

and an entire hoard of snails crowding your garden because your sister says they needed 'exercise', only to see a mynah come and eat five of them.
As well as the sudden discovery of really ancient protractors that belonged to your father YONKS AGO still in pristine condition.

This has been a most fruitful day.

EARTH DAAAAY

Switch off your lights. Sacrifice your air-con. Put your laptop on power-save. Because today is EARTH DAY :D

Today was most amusing. We had a rather pointless marriage talk today for CE. It was actually quite enjoyable, and not quite as trauma-inducing as I expected it to be. We got to see what the teachers looked like from 20 years + ago on their wedding day, and I have just really realized what 20 years can do to a person. Its really quite amazing. In a rather odd-slightly-surprising sort of way.

Also, (YES NADIYAH, I ENJOY LAUGHING AT MISERY) the reactions from most of the level to the talk was entertaining to no end. Unfortunate teachers had to stand up to talk about marriage and commitment, and one poor soul had to talk about being single. I SALUTE THEE. Being single HAS its advantages, so HAH therestofthegirlyschoolpopulation, I HAS PROOF. >:D Marriage is NOT a ruddy must, so dont look so horrified whenever I answer "WTFISH NO" whenever you all ask about all these silly relationship questions.

Anyway, it should be quite obvious that I am probably the worst person to ask anyway, because I will simply laugh at all of the silly things people do for love, and pull a puck on you all, and simply step back to watch. ("Lord, what fools these mortals be.:D")

In other news, I have discovered that accoustic guitar blocks out quite a lot of noise. NONE BUT THE EAGLES CAN MAKE THE GUITAR SING ITS SOUL OUT. Seriously. *happily stocking up on anti-noise music to use*
